ARGININE AKG 1250 is a new amino acid tablet that supplies L-arginine in a highly bioavailable form of alpha-ketoglutarate. Every tablet contains as much as 1250 g of L-arginine alpha-ketoglutarate, which – due to its form – contains no gelatine and is suitable for those who are vegetarian. Both L-arginine and ketoglutarate are important for the daily functioning of the human body.

Arginine is an amino acid participating in the production of nitric oxide and in its release to blood. Nitric oxide is an important signalling molecule of the cells which takes part in many physiological processes in the body. A potent vasodilator that affects the relaxation of vascular endothelium, it helps widen the lumen of all blood vessels. Wider vessels transport more blood and nutrients to active muscles, which improves the nutrition and oxygen level of cells, additionally cleansing them of any harmful metabolites, such as carbon dioxide or urea.

Ketoglutarate is essential from the perspective of energy metabolism in the body. It participates in the metabolic pathway leading to the production of ATP (adenosine triphosphate) – a molecule serving as the energy substrate for active muscles.

Ingredients: L-arginine alpha-ketoglutarate, bulking agent E460(i), maltodextrin, bulking agent E341, anti-caking agents (E470b, E553b), glazing agents (E1521, E1203, E464), colour E171, emulsifier E322.

Recommended use: Take 4 tablets per day (2 tablets before the workout and 2 tablets after the workout). On rest days, take 2 tablets before bedtime.

Warnings: Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Do not take the product if sensitized to any of its ingredients. Do not use if pregnant or nursing. Keep out of reach of young children.
